Effects of coarse sand dosage on the physic-mechanical behavior of sand concrete

The development and research of a new formulation concrete integrating natural resources such as sands (from dunes and/or quarries) well waste from steel factories in the form granulated slag blast furnaces lead to sand concretes for which improvement specific properties will search an agreement between production cost performance. objective this is study influence dosage size largest aggregate on workability compressive strength at 7 days, 14 days 28 days. Five types are made by substituting aggregates (dune quarry sand) with each other different percentages (100%, 75%, 50%, 25% 0%). results show that fresh considerably influenced nature sand; richer coarse elements, fineness modulus increases more handling improves. In hardened state, optimization achieved when good homogeneity large percentage mixed small fine sand.
